The California STEM Network® is a network dedicated to connecting and supporting various STEM champions across the state.
Introducing the STEM Resource Inventory
The STEM Resource Inventory is a tool that lets you search through a wide variety of STEM programs and providers in the 9-county San Francisco Bay Area while providing filter options for the target groups of those programs. We invite STEM program providers in the area to submit their programs to the inventory. If you are interested in creating a similar inventory for your area, please reach out to us at [email protected].
COVID-19 STEM Resources
The California STEM Network, a project of Children Now, is deeply concerned about the severe impact of the novel coronavirus on California’s children and families. As an organization, we are focused on how children and families, particularly those most vulnerable, will be impacted as we emerge from this health crisis and the effects of the economic recession. We know there is a lot of information being shared right now and it can be hard to keep track of all the available resources. We’ve compiled key resources related to supporting STEM teaching and learning during this crisis in the table below and will continue to refresh this table as we receive new resources or updated information.
Policy & Advocacy
The California STEM Network supports the development and implementation of policies that strengthen STEM education in California.
The California STEM Network produces communications on STEM Network activities and STEM policy news and advocacy opportunities for its members and those interested in becoming STEM champions.
Building and Supporting Champions
The California STEM Network supports the regional STEM hubs on their policy and advocacy goals, and continues to build new champions for STEM learning.
