Stella is based in Los Angeles, CA and graduated this June from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Child Studies and a B.A in Gender and Sexuality Studies.  

While at Santa Clara, she was part of the University Honors Program, inducted into three prestigious honor societies, collaborated with a research team on culturally diverse and affirming children’s literature, served as a board member of the Future Child Advocates Club, and, through the College of Arts and Sciences REAL Program, was awarded an internship with a Bay Area non-profit working at the intersection of social justice and early childhood education, fueling her passion for advocacy.  

In the fall, Stella will be pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) at USC in the Children, Youth, and Families track to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Until then, she is looking forward to a summer of meaningful learning and growth with Children Now.
