Tamira DanielySenior Associate, Health

    Tamira Daniely serves as the Senior Policy Associate of Health for Children Now. In this role, she executes fundraising strategies, leads narrative strategy and policy advocacy efforts, conducts research on children’s health policy issues, and spearheads community engagement work with families.

    Prior to Children Now, she worked at Black Mamas Matter Alliance where she developed policy, research, and advocacy strategies to build awareness of and address issues surrounding Black maternal health on the local, state, and federal levels in Georgia. With a dual Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy (B.A.) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Global Health (B.A.) at Duke University, she brings expertise in public health research, health policy, communications, and social justice to Children Now.

    Outside of work, Tamira has a love for nature, food, and is always looking for something to learn. From writing poetry to dance classes to interior design and music production, she loves to create!
