Ella AlpertTCM Equity Fellow

    Ella is a fresh graduate from Scripps College. She earned her B.A. in Politics and Writing & Rhetoric and a minor in Spanish. Ella is passionate about advancing educational equity and expanding opportunity for underserved students. She has worked with organizations including the Literacy Academy Collective in NYC, an organization that advocates for students with literacy-based learning disabilities; the Inner City Law Center in L.A., where she supported homelessness policy and advocacy efforts; and Congressman Jim Himes’ office in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she conducted legislative research and constituent correspondence. 

    Ella is a self-described foodie and loves the variety of cuisines in California. When she is not studying or working she loves to explore new restaurants and try new foods from different cultures.
