Maya Kamath supports the day-to-day operations of the development department and oversees the completion of a high volume of grant proposals and reports at Children Now. She also manages external communications for the organization, including The Children’s Movement of California advocacy campaigns, and the Children Now Insider blog and newsletter.
Ms. Kamath is a communications professional with more than a decade of experience; her areas of expertise include public relations, content development and event management. Prior to joining Children Now, she held the position of communications and fund development coordinator at San Francisco Village, a community-based, non-profit organization that serves older adults.
Ms. Kamath graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles, where she received a B.A. in mass communications, with a minor in political science.
