How Early Start Family Resource Centers (FRCs) can support young children with developmental delays or disabilities

Bay Area Showcase
October 1, 2025

For health care providers, care coordinators, and all others working with infants and toddlers with or at risk of developmental delays or disabilities, the webinar linked below shares vital information about Early Start Family Resource Centers (FRCs) and how they can help families.

FRCs work in partnership with local regional centers and education agencies to help many families get information about early intervention services and navigate the Early Start system. Each Early Start FRC is unique, reflecting the needs of their community, and all are staffed by parents who have children with special needs that can provide information and parent-to-parent emotional support. While this webinar showcases parents and staff from four Early Start FRCs serving the Bay Area, there is an Early Start FRC available to every community in the state (find an FRC near you at frcnca.org/get-connected).
