Prevention Services Inventory

To assist county child welfare agencies, state agencies, and other stakeholders in California with implementing the federal Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA), Children Now created a prevention services inventory (Inventory) in Airtable that includes evidence-based programs and services with relevance to FFPSA. Airtable allows stakeholders to easily group and filter the information in the Inventory to meet their individual needs. The Inventory includes programs and services that fall within one or multiple FFPSA service categories (in-home parent skill-based programs, mental health programs, or substance abuse prevention and treatment), and (1) have been reviewed or are pending review by the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse (Clearinghouse), or (2) have not yet been selected for review but have relevance to FFPSA and a confirmed presence in California. This Inventory is extensive, but it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all evidence-based programs that may be available in California. Moreover, while it provides a point-in-time snapshot of specific programs, we are continuing to make updates and add programs when new information is identified, such as when new programs are selected for review or new ratings are released by the Clearinghouse.

Any questions about the Inventory, including how to search and group using Airtable, can be sent by completing the form below.
