Take Action to Ensure that the State Prioritizes Kids, and Join 760 Organizations that Have Shown Their Support

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, when critical funding decisions need to be made, we cannot let kids bear the burden of this crisis, especially when so many vulnerable children are not receiving the services and supports they need to thrive.

On April 23, The Children’s Movement of California delivered a letter to Governor Newsom and the California Legislature – signed by 760 diverse organizations – urging them to prioritize kids in the upcoming 2020-21 state budget by holding crucial children’s programs and services harmless, and increasing targeted supports as much as possible.

We ask that you join them and be a champion for California kids. We are still accepting sign-ons in support of this critical campaign, so please take a minute to add your organization to this letter today. Together, we can ensure that as we emerge from this crisis, we protect our kids and make them the state’s top priority.
