Who We Are
Coordinated by Children Now, The Children’s Movement is a statewide network for Californians who want to see kids prioritized in policymaking. More than 6,000 organizations and thousands of individuals have joined the Movement, demonstrating the broad support that exists for children’s well-being across the state.
Joining simply means you will be added to the “Pro-Kid list,” the ever-growing list of organizations and individuals who want kids prioritized in public policy. When you join, you’ll receive updates on key kids’ issues and opportunities to participate in opt-in advocacy campaigns. Many people and organizations engage frequently with updates and campaigns, while others simply choose to be counted on the Pro-Kid list. Either is fine.

This campaign asks policymakers to dedicate funding for kids inside California’s $10 billion housing bond. It’s good for kids and ensures they’re not left out of the state’s biggest housing investment in a decade.
