Rebecca Foley is one of the Children’s Movement Equity Fellows. She graduated from the University of Oregon this spring with a family and human services major and psychology and nonprofit administration minors. She wrote a thesis for the honors college titled “Complex Trauma in Foster Youth: How the System Can Better Support Foster Parents and the Youth in Their Care”. Some of Rebecca’s most meaningful work in college included being an intern at a youth services nonprofit and a preschool teacher working with 2-3-year-olds. In fall she plans to start the Master’s of Social Work program at Boston College focusing on children, youth, and families in a macro context.
