Laine Wherritt is a Senior Associate developing education policy communications in Children Now’s Sacramento office.

Prior to joining Children Now, Laine worked at Loyola Marymount University creating strategic communications plans to connect students, staff, and alumni with LMU’s mission to encourage learning, promote justice, and educate the whole person. Prior to LMU she spent several years working for the multi-national engineering firm, AECOM in Los Angeles.

Ms. Wherritt holds an M.A. in Contemplative Social Justice from Loyola Marymount University and a B.A. in Journalism from California State University, Northridge.
