Gloria Baroi is a rising junior at the University of California, Irvine where she is double majoring in Public Health science and Political Science after which she hopes to work in the Legal field and create lasting policies that positively impact her community. She looks forward to learning about Pro-Kid policies throughout the fellowship. Her primary interests in child policy concerns the interconnectedness of Health, Education, Immigration, and Juvenile Justice in the role of a child’s wellbeing. She has previously conducted research on the role of race and gender in science, vaccination efforts and management in LA county, as well as environmental racism. She hopes to use her education and experience to be an effective Public Servant.
