Caroline YaoEquity Fellow, The Children's Movement

Caroline Yao is overjoyed to be one of The Children’s Movement (TCM) Equity Fellows this summer at Children Now. She is enthusiastic about supporting the growth and power of The Children’s Movement of California—assisting with outreach to various organizations across the state—and simultaneously gaining insight into the public policy world from experts here at Children Now.

Caroline is currently a rising sophomore at Haverford College, pursuing a B.A. in both Political Science and Sociology, with minors in Education Studies and Statistics. At Haverford College, she serves on Students’ Council as Honor Council Co-Chair, works as a Program Associate at the Gender Resources and Sexuality Equity Center (GRASE), and is an active competitor on the Haverford Mock Trial Team. In her free time, she enjoys reading classical literature, going for runs, and dancing hip-hop with her friends.
