Anna ChealFellow, The Children's Movement
    Anna is based in the Oakland office, working on member recruitment for The Children’s Movement, with a focus on Northern California counties. Prior to joining Children Now, she worked as a research intern at her university, focusing on tobacco and electronic cigarette use among college students across Utah campuses. She also worked in the marketing department of an air quality company called My Indoor Quality. Anna had the opportunity to work directly with children as a full-time nanny in the Bay Area, as well as an English teacher in Nanjing, China over the course of a semester with the International Language Program. As a public health student, she had the chance to volunteer with several non-profits across the states, such as All Hands and Hearts, The Children’s Tumor Foundation, Women of the World, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Anna is currently a student at Utah Valley University, where she studies Public and Community Health with a focus on global studies. She is a senior in her department, and will complete her bachelor’s degree this coming December. She plans to complete the national Certified Health Education Specialist exam this coming October.
