Ashley De Alba
Research & Operations Assistant
Mrs. De Alba supports senior staff on Children Now’s research and operations teams. She provides research, analytic, and administrative support to ongoing research publications. She also assists with the organization’s day-to-day operations, including finance, information technology, and improving the organization’s operational systems and processes.
Prior to joining Children Now, Mrs. De Alba worked as a Project Manager for the University of California, Davis. She managed and implemented research projects from the ground up by developing all project components such as recruitment of participants, overseeing research staff, data management and analysis, and all other project operations. Additionally, she worked as a youth advocate and assisted with foster youth policy at the California Department of Social Services.
Mrs. De Alba holds a B.S. in Human Development and a Minor in Sociology from the University of California, Davis. She graduated with highest honors and was awarded the prestigious Charles E. Hess Community Service Award for her dedication and commitment to serving her community.
