LCFF has inspired leaders from across California to take a more active role in California’s education system. LCFF provides stakeholders and communities greater ability to get engaged in decisions regarding schools’ education strategies and funding priorities. It also provides greater clarity about what the state and local communities value in public education and what schools have been tasked to provide and achieve for all students. Districts should work with their local communities in determining how best to reinvest locally and establish a plan moving forward. Public input is a critical component of successful LCFF implementation, and you will be given various ways to weigh in, including participating in regional hearings and submitting letters and comments. We want to ensure you are kept well informed on the implementation process and how to participate. Check out the resources and tools on the right side of this webpage to learn more about LCFF implementation and how to participate in your community. | CAMPAIGN TOOLS See the calendar for See the public support list Find out more about the CA weighted formula GO View a PDF of the first webinar GO Tell others about school See our ad in the RELATED ARTICLES School standards: Jerry Brown’s school…, Mercury News READ Local Control Funding Formula: Is there a new rulebook?
