Timely and reliable data are critical for sound decision-making. As such, Children Now distributes data on the well-being of children regularly to policymakers, advocates, community leaders, service providers, educators and others concerned with children’s well-being. The data are gathered from national and state-based sources, which include the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey, UCLA’s California Healthy Interview Survey (CHIS), and The Annie E. Casey Foundation’s KIDS COUNT Data Center.
